Little photography guy taking a bokeh photo, so cute… He doesn’t even know he’s in a bokeh photo.
Hulu - It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia: Stand Up Throw Up
The gaging noises she makes are priceless. I love the guy in the back who yells out, “Jesus Christ!” when she gags.

Odd, this is exactly as I remember it…

Fantastic! Why do I feel like Mark Paul Gosselaar kept his wardrobe from the show, and probably still wears it from time to time? That phone is great!

I hate all bugs, but there is something about this picture that makes me think this bug is kind of cute. He looks like he is smiling. Granted, if he were in front of me right now, I would throw my shoe at him, but still..
So much fun. I must have sat and watched this for at least 10 minutes. What I enjoyed most was that 98% of people can’t do the Moonwalk at all, so when someone who can goes by it’s surprisingly exciting.
I think some people are confused as to what the moon walk actually is. It is still super entertaining, less the people who feel it necessary to grab their crotch. I could do without that…
Happy 4th of July, Bitches!
Ah, the first weekend this summer where it felt like, uh, summer. It was fantastic! Because I was unsure this weather would ever occur again, I crammed as many summer activities into one weekend as possible:
- Swimming (x2)
- Sun bathing (x2)
- Freezer pops (x2)
- Family BBQ (x1)
- Friend BBQ (x1)
- Poker (x2)
- Sleeping late (x1)
- Staying up late (x2)
- Magazine reading (x1)
- Book reading (x4 chapters)
If I were a kid, a skinned knee would have made this summer complete. Now, if the weather goes back the recent summer standard, of shit rain and thunder storms, I can say I completed my summer activities.
Our short film Forever’s Not So Long has slowly been stacking up laurels. Last week it was accepted by the DC Shorts Film Festival and this week we heard it was accepted by the 1 Reel Film Festival at Bumbershoot in Seattle. We were also pleased to be nominated for Best Short Film at the Hoboken International Film Festival recently.
It’s fantastic to keep getting into festivals. We are waiting for answers from three more and then we’ll have to start deciding which we’re going to travel to in September.
The feedback we continue to receive on the Vimeo page for the movie is amazing and we really appreciate all the support everyone has been sending our way the last few months. We just broke 34,000 plays on Vimeo (!!!), a number we could never have dreamed of hitting when we released the film in March.
My brother and Shawn’s short is doing really well. If you haven’t see it yet, check it out and share your thoughts on Vimeo.
So that’s what a heart-eater looks like. I thought it looked like cigarettes, butter and beer.

I would first like to start off by saying I am not a cold, obnoxious person who is not bothered by death. I can empathize with Michael Jackson’s family during this time because the loss of a loved one is extremely difficult. I do, however, have a HUGE problem with the “fan” response to his recent death.
While I can appreciate the loss of a pop icon so unexpectedly is, for lack of a better term, traumatic for some, there is no reason this woman should be clutching a wax figurine in tears. Did she personally know Michael Jackson? Doubtful. So why this overdramatic response?
Over the last twenty-four hours, there have been hundreds of videos and blogs dedicated to Michael Jackson’s memorial and fans speaking about how this loss has personally affected their lives. I just can’t wrap my mind around most of the reactions. I have selected a few that I find to be ridiculous and posted my corresponding response:
“I’m going to miss all of his songs”. My response to all those who are feeling this way: HIS MUSIC STILL EXISTS. Try looking on iTunes, its all there. And hey, if you loved him so much to be moved to tears by his death, why don’t you own copies of all of his CD’s?
“It’s really sad-It’s show business”. Oh, so people who are not in show business do not die suddenly? Whew, that’s a relief! This doesn’t even make sense. It’s show business? Uh, no, its cardiac arrest.
“Police had to put up barricades by Jackson’s star on the Walk of Fame because thousands crowded the star after hearing of his death”. News flash: When famous people die, their soul does not magically transfer to their Walk of Fame star. You are not any closer to him by being there. If you feel like you owe him that visit, try not to trample all over Farrah Fawcett’s star—she’s had enough for one day, what with Michael Jackson stealing her death thunder and all.
“I was just listening to his music, to ‘Thriller,’ yesterday on my iPod,” said Radnia, 21. “And now this. It’s surreal.” Yes, I too believe that if I listen to music and watch television and movies, those celebrities will magically become immortal highlanders. I mean, WTF? Did an adult of sound mind actually say that?
In short, hate me if you want to hate me, it’s just how I feel. It doesn’t really have everything to do with Michael Jackson, it’s more so related to how “fans” react to “celebrity” deaths. Like I said, I feel empathy for his family and it is a sad situation, but I did not know him personally.
I can’t wait for the hate mail to start pouring in…
Review of the Sands Casino, PA:
I was overcome with excitement to visit a new casino. I am a big fan of slot machines, so the thought of a casino offering only that gave me a little tickle in the pit of my stomach.
Upon entering the lot, it appears to be a lot larger than it really is. The actual casino is very, very small. The majority of the slot machines are penny, two-cent or nickle slots. The quarter slots are all occupied by people who refuse to get up and “share” the machines with other visitors. If you want to use a quarter slot, good luck. If you are visiting the casino to use $1 or $5 slots, those will ALL be available to you because no one is using them.
At one point, I was up $87 on a penny slot (although the way the machine worked, I did not even know that I won). I then put that $87 ticket into a two cent slot and did what felt like three spins and it was gone (the setting on that particular slot apparently required each pull to be about $9).
On a good note, the parking was free, however, if you have a truck or car that is above 5’5” tall, you cannot park there. The ceilings are very short.
There are two sit-down restaurants. The wait was over two hours for each of them. We put our name on the list and ended up eating at the bar because we could not wait any longer. The food was not good.
Overall, it turns out the tickle in the pit of my stomach was the result of losing a lot of money and eating terrible food. I would never return to this casino and I would strongly advise anyone from venturing out to PA to visit.
My husband did find a small pearl in his seafood chowder, so I guess I can say it was not a total loss…
Eye Improvement (via Shawn Morrison)
To fix Garrett’s off-center left eye, Shawn devised a plan to distract people by making the right eye look even worse. Works, doesn’t it? You don’t even notice that left eye at all.
Wait, what?!? Twitter is not to be used in case of emergency? I hope those people in that burning building who asked me to “get help” are alright…In case of emergency, do not use Twitter
